We are delighted to announce that Chrysi Elaia Resort, a brand-new 4-star adults-friendly resort (7+), will officially open its doors in May 2027 on the stunning northern coast of Crete, in Georgioupoli.

Rooted in tradition and designed for modern comfort, Chrysi Elaia Resort is a place where Cretan heritage meets contemporary elegance, and where nature becomes an integral part of the guest experience.

A Resort Born Among Olive Trees

The resort is set on 16 acres of land, including a protected Natura seaside zone, surrounded by over olive trees. From the very first steps along the olive-lined pathways leading to reception, guests are immersed in an atmosphere of calm, authenticity, and timeless beauty.

Just steps away, a beautiful sandy beach awaits, easily accessible through a private underpass passing directly through the olive grove. Yoga sessions, peaceful walks, and moments of quiet reflection take place where nature remains untouched.

Chrysi Elaia Resort is built in a cascading architectural layout, ensuring uninterrupted views of the Cretan Sea and the White Mountains (Lefka Ori) from every room — and especially from the spectacular rooftop bar, where sunsets become unforgettable rituals.

At the heart of the resort lies a 100-meter-long swimming pool, winding gracefully between the rooms and creating a serene, lagoon-like atmosphere throughout the property.

All 63 rooms and suites are designed as private sanctuaries, inspired by the colors and textures of olive groves. Natural tones, soft fabrics, and thoughtful details — such as olive leaf motifs and wardrobes inspired by traditional wooden shutters — bring local character into a modern setting.
